This week marks an important milestone for CheckUp Health as we begin the pre-deployment phase of our GP Foundation Solution at Chingford Practice – our very first First of Type (FoT) site. This visit isn’t just about ticking boxes; it’s a vital step in understanding the lived experiences of practice teams, aligning expectations, and co-creating a digital future for primary care.

The NHS England TIF (Tech Innovation Framework) programme represents a bold move towards modernising GP systems, giving practices real choice in digital tools that reflect the way they want to work. Our Foundation Solution supports this ambition — offering an intuitive, interoperable, and user-centred platform that is ready to evolve with the needs of GP practices.

As a UK-based healthtech supplier, being selected for FoT deployment is both an honour and a responsibility. Our mission is simple: to ensure a smooth, safe, and successful transition for Chingford Practice, while generating valuable insights that can shape future rollouts across the country.

We are receiving ongoing support from NHS England, including members from the New Market Entrant (NME) Team, Digital Partnering Team, and Commercial & Delivery Leads, ensuring that we have the full support ecosystem in place from day one and continuing throughout this journey.
