CheckUP Health Solution selected as supplier for primary care IT market, offering innovative and comprehensive solutions

We are delighted to announce that CheckUp Health is one of eight suppliers who have been selected after a tender process to join a new framework designed to increase access, choice and innovation in the primary care IT market.

At CheckUp health we believe healthcare should be equitable and accessible to reduce health inequalities across England. Our aim is to support GP practices with tools they need to make this a reality.

Participating in the Tech Innovation Framework which is being delivered by NHS Digital part of its Digital Care Services Catalogue allows us to support the process of empowering GPs and commissioners, enabling them to deliver better care.

The Tech Innovation Framework will be a blueprint for introducing the next generation of standards for IT systems, with prospective suppliers required to deliver six core functions in general practice – patient information maintenance, appointments management, recording consultations, prescribing, referral management and resource management. At Checkup Health, we are committed to the process to ensure our solutions are compliant to meet these standards.

Primary care organisations are being invited to become early adopters of the new GP core clinical systems, available through the Tech Innovation Framework and we are looking to collaborate with practices that need solutions that are diverse, accessible and inclusive to meet their patient outcomes. Some of the pilots we are currently running include overflow appointments for hard book times and hard to reach patients. Support and funding is available to discover and deploy new solutions – more details are here.
